The all volunteer fire department was founded in _____ and is still in operation today. Using state of the art equipment the fire department responses to medical calls, traffic accidents, and fire calls. On top of the fire training most of the volunteers are trained as First Responders to handle medical calls and the injuries which occur during traffic accidents. Comprised of 25 volunteers the fire district covers the southern part of Oronogo and extends north to the southern boundaries of Alba and Purcell, extending east and west with the same distance.
